We must never stop talking about Jan-Ove Waldner’s talent on the ball.

Now a forgotten video has gained new circulation in the world and what JO is doing is completely incomparable.
There are few Swedish athletes who can measure up Jan-Ove Waldners great popularity and above all his solid track record. He is one of table tennis’ absolute greatest of all time and can proudly display one Olympic gold, six World Cup gold and eleven European Championship gold.
Waldner’s success
JO broke through as a 15-year-old and would dominate the sport for many years to come. His unique ball talent made him a magician every time he stepped up to the table with his racket in hand.

No one knew what was coming when Waldner played ping pong and he was so incredibly unpredictable. Over the years we have seen many, many iconic balls from Jan-Ove and we can never get enough of his displays.

Now an old, forgotten work of art from the past has been given new life and has become a huge hit in the ping pong world. On Instagram, a video, see below, of Waldner putting on a rarely seen show with his feet(!), has gone viral with over 32,000 likes.
