He has been informed of an electricity subsidy – he does not want to mention the exact amount – other than that it is “a lot of money”.
– Others cut back on consumption and walk around freezing. But if you have ignored it because you don’t like freezing, then you are rewarded for it.
Jan Emanuel previously sat for the Social Democrats in the Riksdag and later said that he no longer votes for that party.
Directs criticism: “Wrong is wrong”
He directs the electricity support criticism broadly because similar support has also come from the opposition.
– It is not that the madness becomes less because it is shared by the right and the left.
Jan Emanuel has submitted an appeal against the decision on electricity subsidies, according to him it is a matter of principle.
– I have made a formal appeal because I want it to lead somewhere, not because I think “oh, oh, oh, what am I going to do with the thieves”. I want to bring about a change in the authorities and politicians so that this does not happen again.
