Disney is the king of animated films. But competition from Jan Böhmermann’s camp will soon be approaching on German TV: the team from ZDF Magazin Royale produced the animated film The Basic Law of Animals, which will be on TV in January 2024. As the media magazine DWDL reports, the idea for The Basic Law of Animals came from Böhmermann himself and ZDF Magazin Royal author Miguel Robitzky. There is no further information about the story of the animated film yet.
A line-up of stars has already been chosen, who will lend her voice to the characters in the film. In addition to Pastewka, Uschi Glas, Olli Dittrich and the satirist Sebastian Hotz, who is best known under the pseudonym El Hotzo, will be heard. Hotz also works for ZDF Magazin Royal.
When will The Basic Law of Animals be broadcast?
According to the report, Böhmermann fans won’t have to wait much longer for The Basic Law of Animals. The animated film is due on January 19, 2024 at 11 p.m. on ZDF will be broadcast, the time slot of ZDF Magazin Royal. The running time should be 30 minutes.
