Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis, who became famous for her role as Laurie Strode in the first Halloween movie, announced on the Jimmy Kimmel Live talk show that she was planning to attend her youngest daughter’s wedding by cosplaying a famous World Of Warcraft character.
The character Lee Curtis wants to cosplay is Jaina Proudmoore, one of the most established characters in the Warcraft universe.
Jamie Lee Curtis to impersonate Jaina Proudmoore
Curtis stated on Jimmy Kimmel’s show that his daughter’s wedding will be a “cosplay wedding”:
” Ruby and Cynthia’s wedding in May is a cosplay wedding, which means you have to attend the wedding posing as another character.”
Following this statement, Kimmel and Curtis discuss the differences between cosplay and posing as another character. And it comes down to who Curtis will be cosplaying:
“Ruby and Cynthia chose my costume. Character’s name Jaina Proudmoore. A character and Lord Admiral of his country from the video game World Of Warcraft.”
Jamie Lee Curtis has a long history with World Of Warcraft. Curtis wore an Orc Shaman cosplay at the premiere of the Warcraft movie released in 2016, and attended Blizzcon in 2015.
