Tin Soldier shooting starts next week
According to Deadline’s report, Foxx and De Niro have been selected to star in Tin Soldier as part of a cast that also includes John Leguizamo and Scott Eastwood. Brad Furman sits in the director’s chair of the movie. The script is written by Jess Fuerst, the director’s frequent collaborator. Filming begins next week in Greece.
Coming to the plot of Tin Soldier, it revolves around The Bokushi (Foxx), who preaches to hundreds of veterans who depend on him with the promise of protection. After several failed attempts at his own elusive fortress, military agent Emmanuel Ashburn (De Niro) recruits Nash Cavanaugh, a former special forces asset who was once Bokushi’s student. Nash agrees to use his inside information about the mysterious leader to take revenge on the man who took everything from him, including the love of his life.
