In the franchise finale Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the emotional moments are stronger than ever. Especially with Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and his past in focus, the MCU blockbuster provides extremely touching and sad scenes.

Towards the end of the film, however, there is also a dramatic situation with Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), which almost costs Star-Lord his life. A fan had to the scene a question of logicwhich director James Gunn answered directly.

Towards the end of the MCU blockbuster, there is a dramatic scene in which Peter lands in space without a helmet. For a moment it looks as if the leader of the superhero team will lose his life here. In the end, however, he is narrowly saved by Adam Warlock (Will Poulter).

A fan tweeted the question to Gunn, why Peter doesn’t have his helmet in this scene to survive in space. The director responded directly to this supposed logic hole, which isn’t one:
