“I am happy to be on board this phenomenal project and to work with the legendary Bille August. I’m a big fan of his work and “Me, you” is a really brilliant script, says James Franco in a statement according to Variety.
The film takes place after the Second World War on the Italian island of Ischia, where a former American soldier meets a former survivor of a concentration camp. To show his love, he swears to take revenge on a group of German tourists.
Other actors who also participate are Tom Hollander and Daisy Jacob.
