A Palestine demonstration is currently taking place in Gustav Adolfs torg in central Stockholm. The demonstration is organized by Together for Palestine with demands to exclude Israel from Eurovision.

– Palestinians are driven from their homes. Imprisoned and killed.
– It is a shame that Sweden does not criticize or condemn the war crimes that Israel carries out every day, he says.

– Children lose their parents. Parents lose their children. People are killed trying to escape. We are talking about more than 30,000 murdered Palestinians.
– Israel’s blockade means that even more people will die from lack of medicine and from hunger, says El-Haj.

– I have many Jews who are my friends, who stand here in the demonstration and support us. We must always distinguish between Israel’s occupying power and Jews. Jews are our friends.
