Jail term for Norfolk man convicted of drug-impaired driving

A Norfolk County man was sentenced to almost a year in jail after he was found guilty of causing a 2023 collision while impaired.

No injuries were reported to police.

In court last week, Coutch pleaded guilty to dangerous operation of a vehicle and drug-impaired driving.

He was given credit by Justice Robert Gee for already serving the equivalent of 86 days in jail and was sent back to the reformatory for another 248 days.
