A Norfolk County man was sentenced to almost a year in jail after he was found guilty of causing a 2023 collision while impaired.
Jarren L. Coutch, 33, was arrested after Norfolk OPP investigated a two-vehicle collision on Highway 3 on June 28, 2023 at about 3:30 pm

No injuries were reported to police.
In court last week, Coutch pleaded guilty to dangerous operation of a vehicle and drug-impaired driving.
He was given credit by Justice Robert Gee for already serving the equivalent of 86 days in jail and was sent back to the reformatory for another 248 days.
