“The idea of playing together, we have had it for a long time, explains Jacques Dutronc in the columns of the JDD. Afterwards, it’s a bit because of me. I was asked to do tours again, each time I answered no, because I don’t want to anymore. To get rid of it, I said one day: ‘Ah but notice, with Thomas…’ In my head, I imagined that it would be quiet for me, since he would do three quarters of the work… But it’s above all to be a little more with him, I don’t see him often enough.” A pleasure for Jacques Dutronc to find his son, but also for his fans to see him back on stage.
And the duo Jacques and Thomas Dutronc does not stop there, since it also announces the release of a joint album, to be released on November 4, 2022. “They will resume their great standards together”, can we read in a press release Press. A first single, The opportunistwill be released on April 22.
