Ebba Andersson was the big winner at the Sports Gala.
Seasoned sports commentator Jacob Hård understands why.

The advance tips for the Sports Gala were with the athletics giants Armand Duplantis and Daniel Ståhl. The discus giant had already won the Achievement Gold before and also received the award for “Performance of the Year” at the Sports Gala for his fantastic WC gold.
Ebba’s revenge

After the Sports Gala on Monday evening, Jacob Hård is very pleased that his five names won the prizes in the most important categories such as Male of the Year (Duplantis) and Female Athlete of the Year (Sjöström), Performance of the Year (Ståhl), Team of the Year (Åhman/Hellvig) and the Jerring Prize (Anderson).
“When I in SVT chose my five best sporting events from the year, it was Ståhl, Duplantis, E Andersson, Hellvig/Åhman and Sjöström – i.e. all the athletes who received an award at the Sports Gala. It turned out well in the end, the Sports Academy and the Swedish people”, writes Hård on X, see below.
