Ivorian Gervinho joins Greece and Aris Salonika

After Belgium (Beveren), France (Le Mans, Lille), England (Arsenal), Italy (AS Rome, Parma), China (Hebei) and Turkey (Trabzonspor), Gervinho will discover a seventh championship. The Ivorian striker signed on Saturday, July 16, for two years with Aris Salonika, a Greek first division club. The 35-year-old Ivorian and African champion with the Elephants, comes out of a complicated season with Trabzonspor, where he played only 13 matches (2 goals, one assist) before being the victim of a a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee in October 2021. Gervinho still won the title of Turkish champion.
