Iveco 580 million euro supply for 7100 school buses in

(Finance) – IVECO BUSthe city, intercity and tourist bus brand of Iveco Groupwas chosen as the main supplier of the Brazilian school transport program for rural areas, known as “Caminho da Escola”. Following the award of a tender announced by the National Fund for the Development of Education (Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educacao – FNDE), IVECO BUS will supply up to 7,100 vehicles in two years, from 2024 to 2025worth 3.1 billion reais (approx 580 million euros at the current exchange rate).

There supply it includes 3,600 school buses, suitable for rural areas, with a capacity of 44 seats and 3,500 with a capacity of 59 seats, it said in a statement.
