Bianca Salming did not get a place in the World Athletics Championships.
Now she opens up about her new love decision with boyfriend Tobias Lindberg.
– You get to live on all the time you got together, she says to Hänt.
Nine months have passed since Swedish sports lost one of its biggest icons. On November 24, the hockey legend passed away Börje Salming away in the nerve disease ALS.
Börje’s passing
He lived to be 71 years old and was greatly mourned throughout Sweden. The daughter Bianca Salming then lost his beloved father and great role model in life.

The tough time afterwards and dealing with grief has been made easier by training and my own sports career in athletics. Her boyfriend Tobias Lindberg has also been very helpful and there for her during the difficult period after her father’s passing.

Salming’s love
Bianca and Tobias have been a couple since the end of 2021 and for the first time this summer they have lived together and cohabited. Lindberg is a hockey player, just like her father, and has previously lived and played in the Czech Republic, but during the summer they have had valuable time with each other.

Now Salming admits how important this summer has been for her.
– We have been living together all summer, so we have really had a lot of time together. I’ve really felt like I’ve tried to say no to as much as possible because I just want to be able to take it easy and be myself. It has helped a lot that I got to share it with him, says Bianca in an interview with Hänt.
– We have gone to The Weeknd (concert), we have traveled in Spain together, we have trained a lot together, experienced everyday life and spent a lot of time together. He went with me to my training camp in Montenegro. So we’ve had a lot of fun.

The couple’s decision
But in the autumn, a completely new everyday life awaits again, where Bianca and Tobias split up again. Lindberg has signed for the German club Eispiraten Crimmitschau and is moving to eastern Germany.
While Bianca Salming has decided not to go with him. Then a long-distance relationship awaits again for the loving couple.
– He has already gone back to Germany. I accompanied him there. So now there will be a little more distance again, but you get to live on all the time you had together during the summer, she says to the entertainment site.
