But at club team level, the Swedish big talent has been a great success and has gained plenty of confidence in the starting eleven at German Eintracht Frankfurt. Which has sparked a lot of rumors and speculation about the central midfielder’s future.
The German newspaper Bild has reported that Eintracht wants to extend Larsson and values him at around 50 million euros, approximately 570 million Swedish kronor. Now there are also reports of interest from several Premier League clubs, who wanted to sign the Swede already this summer.
– It’s fun. It’s stuff that’s come out now, but I’ve known about it for a long time. I appreciate it while enjoying myself as much as possible in Frankfurt. We’ll see, he says to the Football Channel.

Hugo Larsson then has to answer a direct question about whether he wants to extend or move on in his career.
– Shall I give you this now… haha. We’ll see. I enjoy myself no matter what. We will probably come up with something, he tells the football site.
Aside from the national team controversy, the 20-year-old is looking forward to playing in Europe in the fall when Frankfurt enters the Europa League’s new group stage.
– It will be fun. Got to be part of it last year, but then we didn’t play well in Europe. It will be better now. I felt throughout the pre-season that we are a much better team this year, says Hugo in the interview.
