(Finance) – Life separate management in 2022 (class I revaluable life policies and class V financial capitalization operations) recorded a average gross return of 2.5%unchanged compared to the previous year, and 3.1% lower than 2017. This is what emerges from Ivass statistical bulletin. There are 264 Life separate managements in Italy compared to 270 at the end of 2021, those in foreign currency are stable at 14. Managements with a profit fund are 9.
The technical reserves, equal to 581.2 billion euros, recorded an increase of 1.2% compared to 2021 and the average gross rate of return was equal to 2.5%, as in 2021, and lower than 3, 1% in 2017. The average rate of return retained by companies is equal to 1.1%, in line with that of 2017;
The difference between capital gains and capital losses records a negative balance of 72 billion (at the end of 2021 it was positive for 33 billion); the top ten separate management accounts for 54% of total assets, unchanged compared to 2021.
