Frida Karlsson is back in the national ski team again.
And the Swedish ski star certainly has no regrets.
– It’s a dream life!, she says beamingly happily to SVT.
Last ski season was affected by the star trio Frida Karlsson, Maja Dahlqvist and Lynn Svahn broke with the Swedish national ski team after dissatisfaction and clear disappointment. All three joined together and pointed out that they wanted to have more of a say in training arrangements and to have more varied training at the national team camps.
Frida’s joy
Ahead of this season, the Swedish national team leadership has listened and the “breakout trio” has returned to the national ski team again. You can already see a big change and after an intense pre-season, Frida Karlsson is happier than ever.

She really loves the new arrangement and does not regret that they resolved the conflict with the national team and returned again.
– I am super satisfied! I’ve had so much fun this year, it’s been my best camps since I joined the circus, she says beamingly happily to SVT.

Karlsson pays tribute
The preparations for the new season have been perfect and Frida praises the arrangement that was in place during the summer where the national team is currently in Livigno, Italy.
– Now you long to go to camp, when you think about it, it’s crazy that I’m here working! I’m here with my favorite people, I get to train as I wish and I get to do it in this environment, and feel that I’m progressing the way I want in training and skiing in general, she says with a laugh.
– It’s a dream life!

National team colleague Svahn is also celebrating the summer together with the national ski team after last season’s breakup.
– I really enjoy this group and it feels like we are doing very, very well. We are a great group and it feels like we have something unique going on with so many ladies who are so incredibly good, she tells the TV channel and continues:
– It’s awesome! I think this will be an era in Swedish women’s skiing and it’s fun to be part of it with your best friends and biggest competitors. It is luxurious.
