Its National Dip Day into the cold water at 10

Abcoude – Many people don’t want to think about it, yet it is becoming increasingly popular: swimming in ice-cold water. Throughout the country there are swimming groups that brave the cold and regularly take a dip in a lake, canal or river in the area. That’s called ‘dipping’. During the National Dip Day, which is being held today for the first time, swimmers collectively jump into the cold water.
