Skellefteå is in a bad place in the SM final after another loss against Växjö.

Växjö has a huge grip on the SM final after the second straight win against Skellefteå. On Monday, Växjö kept a clean sheet away from home, when they won the match 1-0, and now they are only two wins away from a new SM gold.
“Difficult to understand”
Skellefteå is now in a really bad place, but it is noteworthy that the team was at a 0-2 disadvantage also against Örebro in the semi-final, but then they managed to turn around and get on. But Skellefteå are not only dissatisfied with their own performance. Now the team puts its foot down against the referee’s performance, and demands that something change.
In a situation during yesterday’s match, defender Oskar Nilsson ended up in a duel with Växjö’s Dan Sexton. After a few pushes, Nilsson lost his helmet – but also a couple of teeth. Still, the judges did not raise their arms.
– He emptied his mouth at me, and nothing will happen. On a whim! It’s hard to understand, says Nilsson afterwards.

Great criticism
Oskar Nilsson was not alone in directing criticism. The star Pär Lindholm said that it is “not even worth commenting on”.
– Of course you have an opinion, but I think all the players on the ice do, he says to SVT.
Skellefteå believes that they pushed the game well, and that it should have resulted in more numerical advantages in the matches.
– Yes I think so. The players in Växjö may think differently, but I think we push the game so much that we could have brought more.
