In this particular sea container it is always summer. The period in which mushrooms first grow from a small fungus to something bigger. After three weeks it is already time for the other sea container: the one with an autumn climate. “Nice and cool, isn’t it”, laughs Ilse. In the meantime, a blower sprays water particles into the air. “It is colder here, more humid. The mushrooms are a bit startled, so to speak. They think: oh dear, it is getting colder, winter is coming.”
