Gronkh is not only a Twitch streamer, but also an investor. He also invested money in the iced tea manufacturer Ocha-Ocha. The company is now about to come out and talk about working with the streamer. Gronkh has the whole thing sorted out by his lawyer.
Who is the person you are talking about? Streamer Erik “Gronkh” Range is a veteran of YouTube and Twitch. For a while, Gronkh was the channel with the most subscribers on YouTube in Germany.
What does Gronkh have to do with the iced tea manufacturer? Ocha-Ocha is an iced tea manufacturer in which Gronkh says he has invested. According to the company website, the company specializes in sugar-free iced tea, which does not contain any additives (via ocha-ocha.de).
Ice tea manufacturer accuses Gronkh of lack of accessibility
What is the dispute about? In a newsletter on X.com (formerly Twitter), the company accuses the streamer of having had no direct contact with Gronkh for 14 months. In addition, no new money is said to have flowed from investors to continue to maintain the company. You are disappointed with how you are treated as people.
There was apparently a lack of clarity as to what role Gronkh played in the business relationship with Ocha-Ocha. In a LinkedIn post by the founder, Gronkh is described as a brand ambassador and shareholder. However, Gronkh himself emphasizes in his stream that he was only an investor and nothing more (via Gronkh.tv around 6:18:30).
Many details are not yet known due to the legal dispute. However, Gronkh said in his stream that he would like to comment on it as soon as it was clarified.

Ice tea manufacturer makes differences with Gronkh public
How did the dispute become public? In a stream to start the new year, a viewer wrote in Gronkh’s Twitch chat that he had heard negative things about the streamer from Ocha-Ocha and asked what was going on.
Gronkh then told his viewers that at the start of the new year he had read the newsletter to which the viewer was referring.
I won’t go into it too much, don’t be mad at me. The whole thing is with the lawyer and the mail should have gone out today and as long as it’s still there, I won’t talk much about it, but we’ll be happy, very happy, to talk about it. Yes, that was… holy shit.
Gronkh in his stream (via Gronkh.tv) Gronkh found the iced tea manufacturer’s contact to be “invasive”
What does Gronkh say about the newsletter? Although he didn’t actually want to reveal anything, Gronkh addressed the topic in his stream: “If you read the newsletter, I think you can see why I distanced myself back then or why I didn’t want the contact. I think you’ll notice that straight away if you just read the newsletter.”
The streamer then asserts that there was contact with the company at all times, even if he himself could not be reached. According to him, Ocha-Ocha had a contact at Range Ventures because he himself found the contact from the iced tea manufacturer to be “very invasive”:
I understand one of the points. One of the points was that I couldn’t be reached directly. But firstly, it is unusual for investors to always be directly available for everything. And secondly, I was no longer reachable directly because the contact was very invasive… because I felt the contact was very invasive. And that’s why I wished I didn’t do that anymore. And since then our CEO of Range Ventures has been in regular contact. Regularly. Available at any time. Was always there, always in every conversation. Was always there, did everything.
Gronkh in his stream
Gronkh also believes that you should not write negatively about an investor in a newsletter, especially if you are looking for investors. Gronkh also adds that he supported the company and refers to the company figures to which he has access through his investor activity.
What exactly was in the newsletter? The Ocha-Ocha company has published a newsletter in which they not only write negatively about Gronkh, but also announce the almost end of the company. It will only continue to operate as a project and the founders of the start-up want to look for jobs again.
They don’t cite Gronkh directly as reasons, but they devote a separate section of the newsletter to working with him. In it they write that they should remove any “content” by Gronkh from their pages without being given a reason.

The company also says it has not communicated directly with Gronkh in 14 months and that numerous emails have gone unanswered. The company was disappointed by the development, especially how they were treated as people.
Gronkh is usually seen in a positive light by the gaming community, not least because he and other streamers regularly raise a lot of money for charity as part of Friendly Fire:
