Karhi said in the statement, “Elon Musk, I congratulate you on reaching an important preliminary agreement with our Ministry of Communications. As a result, the Starlink satellite internet system cannot be operated in Israel without the approval of the Ministry of Communications. This includes the Gaza Strip.” he said.
Minister Karhi pointed out in his post that “this understanding is of vital importance when waging a war against Hamas.”
Musk has not yet made a statement on the issue.
HE VISITED THE TOWN THAT WAS ATTACKED ON OCTOBER 7 WITH NETANYAHU
On the other hand, in the statement made by the Israeli Prime Ministry Press Office, it was stated that Netanyahu and Musk visited the town of Kfar Aza, located on the border of the Gaza Strip.
As part of the visit, Israeli officials gave Musk information about what happened in the town, which was attacked on October 7 by members of the Izeddin al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
