In 2 days, Nintendo Switch owners will be able to get their hands on the new Kirby, subtitled “and the forgotten world”, with its airs of a post-apo universe where nature has taken back its rights. The specialized press has for a few minutes given its verdict on this title which offers gameplay and more open areas like Super Mario Odyssey. So it’s a new way of approaching things and presumably it works well. Opinions are quite unanimous, Kirby has adapted perfectly to this larger structure, while keeping its fundamentals with the possibility for the pink ball to transform and obtain different powers. On Metacritic, Kirby and the Forgotten World therefore obtains an average score of 85% for 65 reviews listed, with a lot of very positive reviews.
