Information on the profitability of Alan Wake 2 was communicated at the beginning of November, but it was not yet known how many games had been sold. This is now a fact since Remedy Entertainment revealed its plans for the coming years, with supporting figures. At this stage, 1.8 million copies of Alan Wake 2 have been sold, digital sales as well as physical copies sold. This means an increase of 500,000 more copies since February 2024, especially since the physical version has been available since October 22. We don’t know if the latter allowed Alan Wake 2 to have a jump start, but one thing is certain, the game is no longer considered a commercial failure, as the first episode was. Of course, compared to other franchises, this is still a low figure, but Remedy Entertainment intends to make its title a long-seller. That’s all the bad we wish him.
