It is still unclear how Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be dismissed at the Friends Arena.
According to SVT, it was most relevant in connection with a training match against Italy in June – but now Italy has reportedly turned down the match.
– We talk to many countries when we plan international matches and if you find something that feels good and that works for both countries, you try to solve it. Now this did not work and it is not strange in any way, says the national team manager Stefan Pettersson to SVT.

Sweden’s national team still has no home matches booked until the Nations League starts this autumn. The group stage will be drawn in Paris on February 8.
Stefan Pettersson therefore does not know which home matches a tribute to Zlatan Ibrahimovic can take place in connection with.
– We will hopefully have home games in March and June and throughout the autumn and we have not decided which one it will be. It is not just us who have to decide, but several parties are involved.
So far, Sweden has only completed one training match this year. The away match against Portugal on March 21 is to be supplemented with more matches, not least for the upcoming national team meeting between March 18 and 26.
