On Thursday, Draghi won a vote of confidence in the Italian parliament. He had previously demanded a great deal of support from Members to continue as Prime Minister. Three coalition parties, the Lega, Forza Italia and the Five Star Movement, chose to boycott the vote of confidence, and on Thursday morning he confirmed that he would meet with the president. During the meeting, he is expected to submit his resignation.
