(Finance) – Amazon announces today that in 2024 Italian companies selling on his online store have made 3.8 billion euros in sales abroad. The announcement is part of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of Amazon’s Made in Italy showcase on the occasion of the launch of the fourth edition of the Made in Italy Days.
Also this year, from 26 May to 2 June, Amazon will create a special promotional window dedicated to Made in Italy products in collaboration with Ice Agency. Amazon customers in the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and Spain, in addition to Italy, will be able to purchase, at discounted prices, a wide selection of products from the most famous Italian brands and thousands of small and medium -sized enterprises (SMEs).
Born from the desire to promote the excellence of creativity And of knowing Italian, Amazon’s Made in Italy showcase today supports over 5,500 Italian realities to sell its articles in eleven countries of the world. There are more than 3 million products from the Made in Italy showcase made available to customers internationally, of which over 2 million in Amazon.it, and 18 regional courses alone
present inside the showcase that host local typicality. Since 2019, Amazon has collaborated with ICE Agency in 8 countries (France, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Poland, the Netherlands) for the creation of a promotion and development plan of these companies. The agreement between Ice and Amazon Agency has so far involved over 2,800 small and medium -sized enterprises and made available to customers more than 700,000 new products available.
