(Finance) – Bludigit, the digital company of the Group Italgasconsolidates its international presence thanks to a strategic partnership with Azerigas Production Union, the SOCAR group company responsible for the distribution and supply of natural gas in the Republic of Azerbaijan which serves approximately 2.6 million users.
The agreement between the two companies aims to support Azerigas in its digital transformation journey, with the implementation of advanced technologies for the detection of gas leaks and a digital strategic consultancy service.
Among the main activities offered by Bludigit, the Gas Leak Detection service with Picarro, currently the most cutting-edge technology in the field of gas network monitoring activities which allows leaks to be identified precisely and promptly. Using two vehicles equipped with advanced gas analyzers already operational in Baku, over 2,400 kilometers of the gas distribution network in the Azerbaijani capital will be monitored. This is a strategic activity that will contribute to the reduction of fugitive emissions, the improvement of infrastructure safety and the overall sustainability of the system.
