Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler is one of the most successful streamers on German Twitch. Once a year he shows what he earns on YouTube. A lot comes together, but half of it goes to the state – but that’s completely okay for the influencer.
This is how much Trymacs earned in 2024: In his stream from December 28, 2024, Trymacs shows what he made this year from YouTube alone.
Divided across his 3 channels, that’s over 1.2 million euros. Then there is his Twitch channel, his podcast as well as income from partnerships and his products Happy Slice and Happy Chips, which have also “completely gone through the roof” this year.
The Twitch streamer himself admits that his income is “unfair” compared to other salaries. It all started when he played a bit of Clash Royale during his studies – you can see the whole story in our video:
“I’m happy to pay 50% tax for that”
That’s why he likes to pay taxes: The 1.2 million euros is the income before tax – so almost half of it goes to the state. But that’s okay for Trymacs, he doesn’t want to be a “tax evader”.
You could be, but for what? There’s absolutely enough money to go around. I’m happy to pay 50% taxes so that I can live in Hamburg in fucking Germany. What should I do with all the money in Dubai, it would be a nightmare for me.
The fact that many influencers are drawn to Dubai is repeatedly examined critically, for example by ZDF magazine Royale (via YouTube). For German content creators, the Portuguese island of Madeira has long been the tax paradise par excellence: NoWay speaks openly about tax evasion to Madeira – “If you don’t do it, you’re stupid.”
You can find the whole stream on the Trymacs Twitch channel (VoD available for a limited time.)
Trymacs stands out clearly from his colleagues who regularly complain about the high taxes, such as MontanaBlack, who has been toying with leaving the country for years. However, he doesn’t want to go to Dubai either: Twitch streamer MontanaBlack surprises with a statement about Dubai – “You just have to say it like that”
