In large parts of southern Sweden, the beginning of the week has been messy, with snow and slippage causing major problems in traffic. But on Sunday, milder air is expected to flow in across the country.
— In areas with loosened cloud cover, where the precipitation has not had time to penetrate, there are definitely indications that we can get around 15 degrees, says Christopher Greenland, meteorologist at SMHI.
It will be warmest in Skåne
It is expected to be warmest in Skåne, Blekinge, on Öland and in south-eastern Småland.
“Possibly we can get up to just under 20 degrees in some places, at the moment it looks like it will end up just below the 20 mark,” says Greenland.
Still unsettled weather
However, the weather is still expected to be unsettled with occasional rainfall.
In the rest of Götaland and in Svealand it is expected to be around 15 degrees at the end of the weekend and at the beginning of next week.
Further north, it is not about any real spring temperatures, but still a decent rise from many minus degrees to occasional plus degrees.
