Iranian Religious Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei met with representatives of youth groups in the country as part of the Erbain ceremonies held in Imam Khomeini Huseyniyesi in Iran’s capital, Tehran, following the allegations that he “died” or “he was seriously ill”. Khamenei, who appeared before the cameras at a religious ceremony held in Tehran for the first time after a long period of two weeks, gave his speech standing up and called on the youth to continue to fight with patience and perseverance.
ALLEGED THAT HE HAS A SERIOUS SURGERY
The news that Khamenei was sick and had surgery was first claimed on 3 September. The fact that Khamenei did not participate in any of his programs and canceled some of his programs as of September 3 strengthened the allegations against him. Finally, the New York Times, in its news about Khamenei’s health, claimed that his condition was not good and that he had undergone a serious operation.
