According to the new development regarding the incident, The Washington Post reported that documents related to secret nuclear weapons were searched in the raid.

While the repercussions of the incident continued, Washington Post, one of the well-established newspapers of the USA, based its news on the sources stated to have knowledge about the investigation, and it was stated that documents related to secret nuclear weapons were searched in the raid on Trump’s house. It was reported that the said sources did not share information about the content of the documents and did not give details about whether the nuclear weapons belonged to the USA or another country. It was also stated that it was not clear that there was a document in this direction at home.

On the other hand, the US Department of Justice announced that the search at the house was carried out within the framework of the investigation launched into whether Trump illegally took some documents from the White House while leaving office. US Attorney General Merrick Garland stated that he personally approved the search process in Trump’s home. Garland also emphasized that Trump himself announced the search process and stated that the search warrant should be shared with the public, and the said permission was published in the following hours.
