In a statement made by McDonald’s on May 19, it was reported that the company had reached an agreement to sell all its restaurants in Russia to a Russian businessman named Aleksandr Govor, who is currently operating in the food industry.

In the statement, it was noted that Govor, which also operates 25 McDonald’s restaurants in the Siberia region of Russia, agreed to buy 850 McDonald’s restaurants in the country and operate the restaurants under a different brand.
