It started after the earthquakes on February 6! Remarkable visa decision from Germany: The date has been given, it is ending…

Germany announced that the rapid visa application, which was implemented after the earthquake disaster in Kahramanmaraş and benefited by 12 thousand people, will end.

The German Embassy in Ankara made a statement regarding the visas issued to Turkish citizens after the 6 February earthquakes.

The following was shared from the embassy’s social media account:

“Right after the devastating earthquake in Turkey at the beginning of February, Germany allowed Turkish citizens affected by the earthquake to obtain visas quickly. Since then, about 12,000 special visas have been issued. In this way, many people were able to temporarily take shelter with their relatives in Germany. About six months after this successful implementation went into effect, we are ending this procedure and reverting to the old procedure from 6 August.”
