Finland will face Norway in the last game of the preliminary group on Tuesday, November 8. Live broadcast on TV2, Areena in the app and on ‘s website at 18:45.

Finland, which experienced a surprise loss to Switzerland in the floorball world championships on Sunday, will face Norway in its group final game tonight. Petteri Nykyn coached by the team will naturally go into the match with a good feeling after the weak game against Switzerland.

– My guess is that Finland will be quite angry and hungry, the attacker Justus Kainulainen looms.

The disappointment of the previous match clouded Kainulainen’s mind on Monday. Finland had a bad start to the match when Switzerland scored the first three goals of the match.

– We had a classless start. At least it needs to be improved, Kainulainen commented.

Switzerland took advantage of Finland’s weak start to the match. According to Justus Kainulainen, it is one of Finland’s areas of improvement.

Nykky, who has experienced everything as a coach, says that the Switzerland match was the one that surprised him as a coach for a long time.

– The match was proof that international games go hard. I put it (the loss) on my own thorn.

However, Nykky, who piloted Finland to three world championships, wants to remind you that the time for real games is later. The game is not ready yet.

Nykky paid attention to the ventilation of the Swiss players who played in front of their home crowd after the match.

– When you looked at the cheering, it looked like the world championship was won there. However, for me it was a first-round match. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how the first series goes. It just modifies the final sequence. Our goal is to be at our best in the playoff games.

– Switzerland played bravely. However, we did not succeed in the matters that had been agreed upon. We were unbelievably bad, Nykky adds.

So what is Tuesday night’s opponent Norway like?

– Norway has a good group. They play clearly and go straight to the goal. You have to be careful with them too, Nykky states.

The first place in the group is Switzerland and the second place is Finland. Switzerland is expected to beat Slovakia in the final game of the group. In order for Finland to still win its group, it needs help from Slovakia.

If Finland is the group winner, it may have to face the defending world champion Sweden, who is expected to win the B group, in the semi-finals after its probable semi-final win. On the other hand, the winner of Group B is also open, as Sweden and the Czech Republic, who will face each other in the final game of the group, are tied on points. The Czech Republic, experienced in medal games, is ready to surprise.
