    Polanski has one from crime history timeless classic created that inspires cinema to this day. There are even some references to Chinatown in The Batman. Director Matt Reeves cited the film as one of his major inspirations as he began work on the DC blockbuster.

    Chinatown is one of those movies that never gets boring. Although many elements feel familiar, Polanski pulls a lot out of the setting atmospherically. Really strong is the end in which releases all uncertainty, which had previously been backed up for two hours. Here Polanski pulls out all the stops of his skills.
