There is very little time left for Apple to release the iPhone 14. The features and price of the iPhone 14 were included in the leaks, but the most curious issue was when the iPhone 14 would be introduced. But according to the latest report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we may now know when the iPhone 14 will be introduced.
WHEN WILL THE IPHONE 14 BE INTRODUCED?
According to that report, which is based on close sources, Apple aims to hold an event on September 7 to introduce the iPhone 14 series. The information in Gurman’s newsletter shows that apart from the new iPhones, multiple new Mac models, new low-end and high-end iPad models, and three new Apple Watch models are coming from Apple in the fall.
The US-based technology giant usually puts the new iPhone on sale in stores about a week and a half after launching. Apple is expected to continue this model this year as well. The company allegedly told some store employees to prepare for a big new product launch on September 16. An Apple spokesperson declined to comment on the event’s date.
FEATURES OF IPHONE 14 AND IPHONE 14 PRO MODELS
According to Gurman, the standard iPhone 14 will look similar to the iPhone 13. However, the company will remove the 5.4-inch “mini” model and add a model with a 6.7-inch display (expected to be called the iPhone 14 Max). This will mark the first time Apple has released an iPhone with a screen of this size but not a Pro model. Apple will include the A15 chip used in the iPhone 13 in the standard iPhone 14 models.
The company is planning bigger changes for the iPhone 14 Pro series. The company will replace the notch with a pill-shaped area for the Face ID sensors and a dot-shaped area for the camera on the iPhone 14 Pro models. This will increase the screen/case size. This will give users a little more screen space. The company will also add a faster chip to the iPhone 14 Pro.
The most important changes in the iPhone 14 Pro models will be in the camera system. Pro models will be updated with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a telephoto camera, as well as a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera. Apple is also said to be planning improvements to video recording and battery life.
Considering that the promotional event of the iPhone 14 is about three weeks away, it is possible to say that the company’s plans may change. But we do know that Apple usually announces the newest iPhones in the first half of September.
