It is a big concern if Russia is so inclined

The Minister of Defense does not believe in nuclear weapons cooperation between Russia and North Korea, even though the two countries are closing their gap.

Russia seeks partnership and help from North Korea. Minister of Defense Antti Häkkänen (co.) thinks that the situation tells harsh language that Russia is ready to do whatever it takes to win the war in Ukraine.

– North Korea is certainly one of the world’s most unpredictable and dangerous nuclear states. The situation must be monitored with extreme care.

– The content of the agreement between Russia and North Korea should not be exaggerated, but it causes great concern if Russia, as a large country, is so prone to hold negotiations even with North Korea.

Defense Minister Häkkänen predicts that Russia is preparing for a long-term war with its actions.

– What North Korea can give is known reasonably accurately. I believe that Russia keeps the limit in that the cooperation does not include, for example, nuclear weapons cooperation.

Häkkänen believes that strong restraints on nuclear weapons cooperation come from the direction of China, the United States and NATO.

– I can’t believe that Russia would go into a game where a clearly rogue state, even a terrorist state, would really be equipped with some more modern equipment for nuclear weapons.

According to the Minister of Defense, it is still too early to say about the content or benefits of the agreement or cooperation between Russia and North Korea. However, North Korea is able to give Russia some kind of help in the war in Ukraine in the short term.

Russian president isolated by the West Vladimir Putin and the leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un met on Wednesday at the Vostochny Space Center in the Far East of Russia.

The meeting between the leaders of the two nuclear-armed powers supposedly focused on deepening military cooperation between Russia and North Korea.

The war of aggression in Ukraine has consumed Russia’s own weapons stockpiles. The country wants to buy weapons and ammunition for war from North Korea, among other things.

Putin and Kim are deepening their relationship in a situation where both countries’ relations with Western countries have tightened.
