Since many people shop online, there are many packages in motion. For those who have clicked home a parcel to a nearby parcel box, it may happen that they have received a message stating that the parcel cannot be delivered because the parcel box is full.
If a package box is full, the package will not be able to be delivered there.

For Vetlanda Posten tells Anders Lindsten, distribution manager for Postnord in Vetlanda, what happens to one’s parcels if they don’t fit in the parcel box.
– If the boxes are full, the packages go directly to agents. This is already visible at the terminal sorting, that’s where the seats in the boxes are booked, says Anders Lindsten Vetlanda Posten.
All packages are measured on a terminal and there the package’s height, depth and width are checked. Already there, you can decide if the package goes into a slot in a parcel locker or if the package must be sent to an agent instead.
