In India, there was a panic of the passenger plane whose wing caught fire. A SpiceJet Airlines passenger plane made an emergency landing at Bihta Air Force Base with 185 passengers after its left wing caught fire. Passengers were evacuated from the plane after the police and airport officials arrived at the scene.

A SpiceJet spokesperson said in a statement, “On 19 June 2022, the SpiceJet B737-800 aircraft was en route from Patna to Delhi. During takeoff, the cockpit crew suspected that a bird had entered the engine. As a precaution, the pilot turned off the affected engine and decided to turn around. The plane landed safely. After the flight, it was understood that the bird damaged 3 fans.
