It is a well-known fact that looking directly at the sun carries great risk. Experts have now revealed a new harm from the sun’s rays. According to studies, even looking directly at the sun’s rays without the reflection on the phone’s screen can be equally harmful to the eyes. Two people looking at the strong reflection of the sun suffered retinal damage.

During the controls, both patients stated that they did not look directly at the sun. But experts have found that they are subject to a strong reflection.
4 HOURS LAUNCHED WITH TABLET
The 30-year-old man, who read from his tablet for four hours on the terrace of a ski resort, suffered from visual impairment and had difficulty seeing distant objects. Over time, the problems improved.
Another 20-year-old patient, while sunbathing on the beach, lingered on his phone for three hours. The lonely young woman was not as lucky as the other man. He suffered from permanent visual impairment.
The Spanish ophthalmologists who treated both patients said there was a need for more awareness of the potential risks.
He wrote in the Journal of Medical Case Reports that the sun’s reflection from electronic devices “should be considered” as a risk factor for developing solar maculopathy. This is a condition that normally only occurs in people who look directly at the sun.
