Is silicone good or bad for the hair?
– Silicones are not the devil when it comes to your hair. The most important thing is that not all silicones are created the same. There are good and bad, says Adel and continues;

Right or wrong silicone
Furthermore, Adel says that silicones can help keep the hair moisturized and at the same time act as a heat protection. Proper silicone seals the surface of the hair which consists of cuticles and allows the moisture to be stored properly in the hair.
– It can make your hair look softer and shiny. Overall healthier, says Adel.
Common misunderstanding
A common myth is that the silicone will make the hair more dirty faster and weighs down the hair.
– It will not be a problem depending on the type of silicone you use, and as long as you use a clarifying shampoo it will go well, says Adel.
“I don’t throw out my silicone -based hair care products and you shouldn’t either.”
