Murat Karanlık, a classic car enthusiast who owns a car showroom in the city, has added a new one to his collection of jumping cars. Karanlık modified a 1983 model foreign brand car by changing its suspensions. Karanlık made the stationary car jump with the system he applied by sending air to the suspensions with the help of a compressor. The car, which gives the impression that it is swinging like a cradle with a cable control, attracts the attention of those who see it. Karanlık, who makes his car, whose suspension system cost him approximately 100 thousand liras, bounce outside of traffic, also aims to design the fastest jumping car in the world.
‘THERE IS AN ACCELERATED SYSTEM ON IT’
Murat Karanlık, who said that his car is faster than other cars, said, “Such classic, nostalgic cars are a disease from the past. Apart from this, I have 3 more nostalgic cars. The feature of this car is that it is a little faster than other cars. The car has an ‘air suspension system’; it can jump, bounce, dance. It has module features. The difference of this car from other cars is that it is the fastest ‘air’ car in Turkey; the number of compressors is a little more, its valves are enlarged. It has an accelerated system on it.”
‘MY GOAL IS TO MAKE THE FASTEST ‘AIR’ CAR’
Saying that his goal is to make the fastest air-powered car in the world, Karanlık said, “It is a car that makes an incredible difference. People want to take pictures with it. It attracts a lot of attention from those who see it. It also gives people anxiety all of a sudden. I made the fastest car in Turkey. My next goal is to make the fastest air-powered car in the world; I hope I can do it.” (DHA)
