There is already a yellow warning for snowfall from Friday evening in Bohuslän and Dalsland, where there may be between 5-10 centimeters of snow.
A low pressure that brings both snow and rain is expected to move in from the southwest early on Sunday and remain during Monday.
In southern Sweden, there may be talk of the first extensive snowfall of the season.
– It can be quite difficult in inner and northern Götaland and southern Svealand with abundant snowfall, wind and snow, says TV4 Nyhetern’s meteorologist Peter Kondrup.

Wet snow
The front with rain, which will intensify during Sunday, is expected to change to snowfall.
But already during Monday, the cold air in the north pushes the front down again, which can lead to a difficult and intense snowfall and fresh winds all the way down to central Götaland.
– It is not impossible that we may see snow amounts of upwards of 1-2 decimetres of heavy and wet snow, says Peter Kondrup.
