Competing in the PUBG MOBILE World Invitational Main Tournament held in Riyadh, Arabia, Istanbul Wildcats managed to win a prize of 1.3 Million TL.
The first leg of PUBG MOBILE World Invitational (PMWI), one of the biggest tournaments of PUBG MOBILE, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, was completed between 11-13 August. Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats, one of the Turkish teams participating in the tournament, managed to return with a prize of 1.3 million TL from this great organization where 18 esports teams from all over the world participated.
Wildcats won 1.3 million TL in 7th place in the tournament
Representing our country in the main tournament, Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats team had a very good start on the second day of the tournament and finished the tournament in 7th place. Wildcats, which won a total of 73,500 dollars (1.3 million Turkish Liras) awards, achieved great success in Esports as the 7th place in the world and made Turkey proud.
Falcon Esports, the representative of Saudi Arabia, marked the tournament in the giant area established in the center of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In the tournament attended by hundreds of fans, Falcon Esports narrowly missed the championship and Thailand representative Vampire Esports won the grand prize of $ 525,000 as the champion.
Excitement continues for $1 million prize pool
The second stage of the tournament, Afterparty Showdown, will continue with a prize pool of 1 Million Dollars between August 18 and 20. At this stage, the S2G Esports team will represent our country.
