According to Palestinian sources, at least 45 people were killed in Israel’s attacks on Gaza on Boxing Day.
The head of a hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, said that five hospital staff were killed in the attacks.

A doctor at the pediatric department of a hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, said that at least three babies under the age of one month have died from the cold this week.
