Israel’s artist Eden Golan on the demonstrations: “Honor to represent my country”

Thousands of protesters occupied Malmö’s streets and squares on Thursday afternoon. The protests, which are expected to last until late in the evening, criticize Israel’s participation in the music competition – but that does not stop the country’s contestant, Eden Golan:

– I’m here doing what I love most and focusing on the music and the good energy. There are so many people who support me and it is an honor to represent my country, especially in these times, she tells SVT Nyheter.
