Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was admitted to the hospital yesterday, complaining of dizziness. Netanyahu was discharged from the hospital after his treatment. Amit Segev, director of the cardiology unit, said in a statement that Netanyahu was fitted with a heart monitor during his hospital stay, his heart was normal as a result of the tests performed, and no heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats were found.
Making a statement after his treatment, Netanyahu said, “Yesterday I spent time with my wife in the sun on Lake Tiberias without a hat and without water. It was not a good idea,” he said.
Thanking his supporters and healthcare workers for their concerns, Netanyahu said, “Thank God, I feel very well, but I have a request from you. We are going through a heat wave in the country, so I ask you to go out in the sun less and drink more water,” he said.
