Amnesty’s section in Israel does not support the new report in which Israel is accused of committing and having committed genocide in Gaza.

Instead, Amnesty Israel points to suspicions that “serious crimes” – such as crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing – are being committed, which need to be investigated.

Israel intends to wipe out Palestinians in Gaza, according to Amnesty International’s report. It is based, among other things, on interviews, analyzes of satellite images and video clips, reports from organizations on the ground, and statements from the Israeli government and military.

“We were not among the initiators of the report, nor did we collaborate in its writing or were involved in the financing or approval of the report,” writes Amnesty Israel in a statement.
