Airstrikes were carried out on Gaza by the Israeli army and the Internal Intelligence Organization Shabak. In its statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that 12 martyrs were killed in the attacks and 20 people were injured in various ways.
The Jerusalem Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that three of its leaders, along with their wives and children, were killed during the attacks.

In a written statement, Islamic Jihad Movement Spokesperson Tarik Silmi said that “all options and scenarios are open to the resistance forces in response to the crimes of the occupation forces.”

“The resistance will not stop until the occupation is over. The resistance has taken its place in the rules of engagement with the occupation forces who want to expel the Palestinians from their lands, and they will avenge their martyrs,” he said.
On the other hand, Hamas Movement Leader Ismail Heniye also made a written statement after the developments.

Heniye said in her statement:
“Israel was wrong in the assassination operation and will pay the price. Assassinating the leaders with a treacherous operation will not provide security for the occupation, on the contrary, it will increase the resistance even more. The resistance will hurt the treacherous enemy, and only he will determine the style.”
The Israeli army announced that three members of the military staff of the Islamic Jihad Movement, one of the Palestinian resistance organizations, were neutralized in its airstrikes on Gaza tonight.
In the statement made by the Israeli army, it was emphasized that the airstrikes on Gaza were a joint operation between the army and the Internal Intelligence Organization Shin-Bet (Shabak) and were carried out against the military cadres of the Islamic Jihad Movement.
In the statement, the names of the leaders of the Jerusalem Brigades who lost their lives in the attacks were also mentioned separately.
Following the developments, the Government Press Office in Gaza said in a written statement that education was suspended in all educational institutions in the city until further notice.
